I am absolutely terrible at keeping up with a blog. For some reason I start out with good intentions and then it falls by the wayside. It's not that I'm not crafting, I am, I've made several things, completed a few more afghan squares, started a garter stitch mitered afghan in yummy jewel tones, yet somehow none of it made it to the blog. So here's to trying again.
Right this minute I'm at my annual Sampler Dames cross stitch retreat in Collinsville, Texas. I started a new cross stitch project, last year's Halloween Mystery Sampler by Lizzie Kate. Clearly this is no longer a mystery since I have all three parts and a picture of the FO. I will probably post some pictures when I get home since the connection isn't great out here and I can't upload files very well.
I also sorted out several boxes that have been in my closet forever and plan on taking them to my Sampler Guild's Stash Sale in August.
I also ordered the yarn to stitch a Dr. Who scarf for Mikayla, since she is an absolute Dr. Who fanatic. I'm hoping I get it done in time for Whocon. I forget what the dates are for that but I think it's Sept or Oct. Fencon.org is down right now so I can't double check. Fourteen feet of garter stitch should be relatively easy if boring.
