Dead Spots by Rhiannon FraterMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
It took me a little while to connect with the main character because some of her actions didn't seem entirely believable at first. After I thought about it I realized that I was projecting myself onto her. I probably wouldn't have reacted the way Mac did but that doesn't make her actions any less valid or believable.
The concept was really interesting. Getting thrust into a parallel reality by entering an abandoned property. A reality which could be beautiful but where all of your fears could and would be used against you.
