Review: The Feed

The Feed The Feed by Nick Clark Windo
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A dystopian story about the decline of civilization after the fall of social media. In Tom and Kate's world, there are implants which network everyone together. It's like Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr are inside your head. Until they aren't, and most people can't adjust, so they die.

Tom and Kate have managed to survive as have a handful of others. It's difficult because nobody knows how to do anything anymore. They have to figure out how to plant crops, work a generator, etc. And watch each other sleep because if left alone - the Others might come and invade their minds. Nobody knows who the Others are or what they want, except that they're dangerous.

Interesting premise with decent execution. The twist is a little bit obvious, where else would the story have gone? Ending was pretty decent.
