Going camping this weekend.  We're leaving mid afternoon today for Bastrop State Park down around Austin for Poly Big Fun,.  Hope it's as much fun as last year.  Although last year I wasn't toting along a boyfriend and his cranky four year old.

That same four year old who had a total meltdown this morning because she wanted to watch a movie, RIGHT THIS MINUTE, and daddy apparently wasn't putting the disk into the player either fast enough or correctly.  I'm not sure, I was in the kitchen at the time.  This of course got her banished to her room, and resulted in about 45 minutes of wailing and screaming.  I can't wait for her to be old enough to actually get it that the crying, whining and kicking doesn't get her what she wants and makes the punishment longer.

I did some crying too, but not because of the movie.  My bright pink coffee maker also had a meltdown this morning, possibly in response to the stress, or maybe it didn't want to watch Rio for the 400th time and committed suicide.  Regardless, for whatever reason it decided to jam up, spew coffee grounds everywhere and get liquid into its inner parts.  I guess when we get home on Sunday I'll plug it in again and see if it's working or if it needs to be replaced.

On the crafting front, I'm about 10 rows into this month's afghan square but I set it aside because I'm almost done with Mizzle, there are about 25 rows of border left.  Hopefully I'll get some time to work on it this weekend.  The socks are only pulled out at lunch, which I only get about half of the time, so they're still on the toe portion.
