Dentist today.  Had a deep cleaning of the left side of my mouth.  Boy, have things changed!  Last time they had to give me injections of lidocaine to numb my mouth.  I hate that stuff, it doesn't work the way it's supposed to on me, and I usually need extra injections, then it takes an eternity to wear off.  This time she used some numbing gel stuff that gets placed up into the gum line.  Worked great, and it's already almost gone (my appt was at 2:30, it's just after 4:30 now).  I won't be so apprehensive about my next appointment in a couple of weeks to do the other side.

Hopefully it gets everything into working order, since I've got a bunch more work that needs to be done including prep work for an implant to replace one of my missing front teeth so I can get rid of this painful, ugly bridge.

I don't even want to think about how much it's going to cost.  One day at a time, one day at a time!
